Visual Essay
After listening to some of the others critic, it inspired me to change the direction of where how I was going on about the visual essay. I searched some images of what procrastination means on stock image websites. The results are showcased below:
I then proceeded to ask some of my friends for images of them procrastinating to make the project more personable and relatable. I also asked myself, what I thought procrastination meant to be and the feelings I get when I procrastinate. Some of the images I received, really inspired me to create something that is chaotic. I also really liked the aspect of the conversation and the little message that indicates what the person thought procrastination meant to them.
A lot of the images I received are very quirky and chaotic, I decided to create an interactive page with elements that are jumbled and disorganized. This also portrays the feelings that occur when I procrastinate. A lot is on my mind and I'm stressed by the tasks that I have to complete. This incorporates my interpretation and others interpretations of what procrastination means. I began with some sketches and then wireframed the website together. I included animated pop-ups on the page to help portray my vision.
